Vestkorn will take over all the pea activities at DLG Ingredients in Durup. Vestkorn does this in order to extend their position as the leading producer in Europe of protein, starch and fiber of pulse concentrates.

By this purchase, Vestkorn extends the product portfolio with the production of split peas and becomes the biggest producer in Europe. Further whole peas and decorticated peas to the food industry are added to the product portfolio. Several packaging-formats are available, like bags (paper and plastic) from 300 grams to 50kg, cartons as well as bigbags and bulk.

All customers will be handled by Vestkorn from Monday 25 January 2016.

During first half of 2016 equipment will be moved and processes upgraded. At the same time the processes will be ISO 22000 certified as well as Kosher certified.
