It is a long tradition in Norway to celebrate the constitution-day 17.May. Unlike many other countries this is not celebrated by a military parade, but by a parade in every city and village of children celebrating our freedom. This year it is different. There are no happy children in the streets, singing and celebrating. Yet another impact of the Covid-19.

In Vestkorn we keep the tradition by raising our beloved Norwegian-flag on top of our milling facility. We have done so in decades, only interrupted by the second world-war, and we tend to continue for the years to come in respect of our history and country. Let us all do our utmost to make 17.May 2020 a great day to remember despite the limitations of the virus!
