Vestkorn is pleased to announce the appointment of Frederic Benard to the position of Technical Sales Manager Food. Frederic officially started on 2 June 2020.
Frederic is a passionate and dedicated food technician with long experience within product development, from designing recipes, conducting trials to industrial upscaling and implementing new products at customers. Over the past twelve years, Frederic has been working as a Technical Sales Manager in KMC. In his new role he will join the Vestkorn sales team and report to CCO Marius Spiten-Nysæter.
Spiten-Nysæter says “As part of Vestkorn´s ambition we have made huge investments within new applications and innovation of textured plant proteins to create brand new products and concepts to strengthen our future business opportunities. Frederic´s appointment will help us to accelerate expanding our business within the food sector.”
The new position of Technical Sales Manager will focus on a technically complex ingredients solution, generating new sales opportunities and building strong working relationships with our distributors, and our customers to support their product development and routes to market.
On his appointment, Frederic says “Sustainable, plant-based food is an exciting category to work in and I believe that textured proteins from pea and faba will be a significant part of Vestkorn´s future. I think increased focus on sustainable, healthy plant protein will increase and contribute to an economically and environmentally responsible food consumption worldwide.”
