The head-office and production are located in Tau, on the south-west coast of Norway, while the sales office is located in Holstebro in the north of Denmark. Vestkorn is the most experienced producer of pea- and faba protein concentrates in Europe. The first processing-line dates back to 2005.

In addition to satisfying currentNorwegian Food Safety Authorities standards for food, additional internationally recognised certification includes ISO 22000, Halal, Kosher and EU-organic. Vestkorn is the first one of its kind to hold an ISO 22000 – certificate. And by end 2019 still the only one. By the end of 2019 the company aim to be FSSC 22000 certified.

Vestkorn is a privately owned company and a leading producer in Europe of natural concentrates from dry fractionation of pulses.
The history of the company starts in 1855. We are running a mill being in operation in more than 160 years, going through good and bad periods, sun and rain, big changes in the society and two world wars. The mill has survived because of the customer focus and the will and capability to change. We are a part of this history and we are quite proud of it!
